Helpful Hints for Launching the
Mathematics Pentathlon Program at Home

1. Make sure to read all information about the Mathematics Pentathlon Program. Start by reading the Home-Page, and then go to Program Summary, Implementation, Calendar, Training, Registration, and the Store. Also, make sure to download and print the Events Flyer and Order Form.

2. After researching the program, talk to other parents who have implemented the program successfully in their home. You may want to ask for suggestions and obtain answers to any of your questions.

3. Think about other options you may want to include in your home setting. Many parents who use this program have a goal of sending their child to a national tournament. Some parents use the program as a family activity while others invite more children over to become a part of the program. Decide on which setting will best benefit your child.
